What should your instructor tell you before your lesson

When you find an instructor you think would be a good fit for you for your lesson what should happen then?

message your instructor

Use the messaging system in skiinstructorfinder.com to reach out to your instructor. Find out their availability for the days you want to take lessons. They’ll guide you through how to book them for a private lesson at their resort. This is when you and your instructor will build a relationship that will give you your best lesson experience!

what is your instructor going to discuss with you?

Your instructor is going to discuss your goals for the lesson. They will ask you about your previous skiing or snowboarding experience. They will ask you about where you are from, when your vacation will be starting. They will ask about your hobbies and interests. They will give you the background resort knowledge that you just don’t receive when you speak to a call center.

Your instructor may arrange to meet you at your hotel, the rental shop, or on the mountain at the resort you’re visiting.  They can help you understand the processes for getting gear and making sure it fits well. They can tell you the type of clothes to wear for your lesson.

Your instructor is the best resource for knowledge about the lesson.
